Driven by a passion for innovation, Joseph is leading research on the health benefits of oats, focusing on improving glycemic control, enhancing protein quality, and developing tools for better nutrition. From unlocking the potential of oat proteins to evaluating digestibility, he is shaping a healthier, more sustainable future—one project at a time.

Dorthea Gregoire, Ph.D. (Director of Education, Extension and Outreach, COG)
Paving the way for progress, Dorthea lead COG’s ROO Program. The program was “designed to support Prairie-based growers who are interested in transitioning to regenerative organic farm management”. Through the ROO program, she’s empowering farmers with tailored training, hands-on field days, and ongoing support, fostering a thriving regenerative organic oats supply in Canada.
